About Chazown Roofing & Construction
Hi, I’m Paul Hillian, owner of Chazown Roofing and Construction. I was born and raised in Oklahoma, and I know from experience how tough our weather can be on a roof. I’ve lived through countless tornadoes and ice storms. I’ve seen leaky roofs, moldy attics, and rotted frames. That’s why I take every project personally. I want my neighbors to have the peace of mind that comes with knowing their home is safe.
Since 2009, my company has installed and repaired hundreds of roofs across Oklahoma using only the industry’s strongest, most durable materials. Because I’m licensed by the State of Oklahoma (#80002030), I build everything to code. I am committed to keeping your family secure, and your investment protected.
I’m also a U.S. Army veteran, and I’m committed to taking on every project with integrity, accountability, and reliability. In addition, I’m a Certified VA Home Builder (Builder ID #00661), which means I’ve met the standards set by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for builders. This certification allows me to help fellow veterans and their families build or improve homes that meet VA loan requirements. For me, serving those who’ve served our country is a natural extension of my commitment to quality, trust, and protecting families here in Oklahoma.
Beyond roofing, I believe in giving back. Over the last several years, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with Rose Rock Habitat for Humanity on their home builds. Working alongside their team has been a blessing. It gives me a chance to use the skills God’s given me to help families in need. That work is deeply personal to me, because I’ve been in hard places myself. I faced a time when I was homeless, and I’ll never forget the people who stepped in to help me. I see giving back as my way of paying it forward.

Chazown Roofing & Construction has been in business since January 2009. Because I grew up in Oklahoma, I’ve been in more than my fair share of tornadoes, ice storms, and hot humid summers. I’ve helped help with storm clean up since I was a kid. During my time in the Army, I gained a lot of experience building fortifications and defensive structures.
I’m personally on every job site, making sure the work is done to the highest standards. My specialty is installing Class 4 roof shingle, which is the toughest-rated shingle you can get, and repairing storm-damaged roofs. I employ the same high standards for every customer that I was taught to use in the Army, and ultimately I am a strong believer that God watches over us, and that he’s blessed me with the skills to help others in this way.
Yes we do. We perform a free roof inspection with estimates, without any pressure, before you make your final decision to hire us. We’ll walk you through what we find, answer questions, and explain your options clearly. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident about your next step.
Many of our clients come to us after storm damage. We will work with your insurance company to help you get your claim approved and for the maximum amount. If your insurance policy allows, we will accept assignment of benefits directly from them. Otherwise, we will typically wait for your insurance to pay you before we collect from you. Your deductible, however, will be paid by you.
I’m always present on the job site to make sure everything runs smoothly and up to our standards. We do use a team of trusted subcontractors that know me and know exactly how I want things done. I oversee the work directly so you never have to wonder who’s in charge. Homeowners appreciate having me there to answer questions and keep things on track.
Our company offers a 20-year “no leak” guarantee on all work. We use roof shingle from either GAF, IKO, or Owens-Corning, each of whom provide limited lifetime warranties and wind warranties.
Yes we can! This website has testimonials of real customers of ours, and all photos used on this website are photos from our projects. In addition, we can provide printed references and photos of our actual work.
The average house takes two days to start and finish a roofing job. Smaller structures can be done in one day, while larger homes with complex roofs can take three to four days.
We are meticulous about picking up every nail, screw, chunks of debris from your yard once the job is done. We will completely cover your swimming pool or spa during the project. Your landscaping will be just as clean, if not cleaner, than how we found it.
